Wow did we have an ice storm mess here for about a week! The kids were out of school for three days with a delay on the 4th day. The main roads were clearned quickly, but the school parking lots and side streets were very slippery for over a week. The girls had fun sledding on the ice in the back yard. Eventually some of the ice started to melt, but it took over 2 weeks to get our driveway back.
