We had a beautiful day for Easter Sunday this year! Before breakfast everyone rushed down to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them. After celebrating with toys and candy the girls got dressed up in new dresses form Grandma. We then took pictures and even made it to church just a few minutes early!! Aliya was in a great mood and did not cry at all when we dropped her off in the nursery. After church we had lunch here with Mom, Dad ,Marilyn and Tom. It was a nice traditional ham dinner and we all stuffed ourselves.
Following dinner the girls headed out back for the egg hunt. Grandma brought over 77 filled eggs, so there were plenty for the three of them to find. Ellie and Ansley really enjoyed hunting and trying to beat each other out for eggs. Aliya, with the help of Uncle Tom, found her eggs and put them in her basket. All three were very cute to watch!
Later that afternoon Ellie and Ansley went to camp with Grandma and Grandpa in their brand new trailer. Aliya and I followed a few hours later. (Rick stayed home to clean out the garage and I was very excited about that!) The weather was perfect and we enjoyed being one of the only people there. The girls loved that we were so close to the playground that we could watch them from the trailer. We finished the evening with a brief hike, dinner outside, and a movie on the new big TV inside. We had a relaxing day on Monday and packed up after a late lunch. It was a fun little overnight for Spring Break, thanks Mom and Dad.
