I love Christmas time! Great food, family, and all at someone else's house :) We had a great Christmas with the Dycus side of the family. Christmas Eve we celebrated with dinner and gifts with the Roberts. It is always so nice to get to see them, it is now down to once a year since they all live so far away. However, we are grateful for that one gathering a year to catch up.

After the festivities we spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids made a sign for Santa and hung a pink "snowball" at the entrance to the fireplace to help guide him. The Drow kids got up early along with Gma and Gpa, however my girls slept in a few hours more. Luckily everyone waited for us to get up before opening Santa gifts. Ellie got her number one asked for gift, Stacking Cups, and Ansley got hers which was real earrings with a note from Santa that she could get her ears pierced (more on that to follow).

We spent the afternoon enjoying Santa's treasures and cleaning up. Brad and crew came over around dinner time. We had a nice dinner with everyone including Grandpa Jack. After dinner was the big Grandma gift opening. It was a lot of fun and everyone hung in there until the end even though it was pretty late.

Overall it was a great Christmas holiday with both sides of the family! Can't wait until next year.
