Kings Island

We had fun on the annual trip to Kings Island this summer.  We had a very hard time finding a hotel, but we ended up finding one that was fairly nice and had the essential indoor pool!
The lines for most rides were short and Aliya was able to ride a lot of things with us.   This year I got Ansley to ride the Vortex with me (it goes upside down 6 times), she did not love it but did not complain.  We also spent time in the new part of the water park, it was nice and clean.   The girls really liked the wave pool the best.  The rides for the water slides were all long.  Ellie did go on one big slide all by herself though (Rick waited at the bottom for her).
After an exhausting day we went to the hotel, checked in and headed out to find dinner.  We stumbled across this really quaint restaurant in an old building overlooking the train tracks.  We sat on a second floor patio and watched the train go by.  Everyone was pretty tired, but it really was an interesting place.
After dinner we went to swim in the hotel pool before bed.  The next morning we swam again and then had breakfast at the hotel.  It was a fun trip the kids always look forward to!
