We went up to the Cottage to help Dad take the boat dock out for the winter a few weeks ago. Rick and Dad put on their waders and got to work taking it out on one of the windiest days ever. While they were working the girls had fun raking and playing in the leaves in the yard. After playing in the leaves we decided to go to a local pumpkin patch. It was SO windy we could barley look at the pumpkins and almost got blown away. However, we had fun and did the hay maze, corn maze, and horse pulled hay ride. We found some funny gourds and a pumpkin for each of us.
When we got back 
the dock was out and stored for winter along with all of the porch furniture. All of us had dinner, watched some TV and headed to bed. It was a short trip, but fun.
