The annual Christmas hotel overnight downtown was a success! It started a little rough with arguments about what to do first, but it worked out and was a lot of fun for all! Rick got a huge suite for us that had more than enough space and we felt rich :)
After checking in we agreed upon heading to the pool. The girls had a lot of fun swimming and found it pretty cool that the pool was on the top floor of the hotel. After cleaning up from the pool, we went to Weber Grill for dinner. We did have to wait a while, but we were seated in a horseshoe booth that somehow felt special. The food was pretty good and the dessert that was included with the kids meal was a real treat that was big enough for all of us to share.
After dinner we planned to walk around the circle and see the Chrismas lights, but it started to rain so that was brief. We finished the night with yummy snacks and playing games. Everyone went to sleep easily after an exhausting day. We returned to the pool the next morning and then stopped at Bob Evans for a full breakfast on the way home. Another successful year :)
