Ellie turns eight! Ellie let another year fly by and she is now officially 8! She decided on her own that she did not want a friends party this year, so we just had a small family gathering. She had fun playing with cousins and enjoying the attention. This year she was not sure what she wanted for her birthday so I bought all new stuff to re-do her bedroom. Thankfully it was a hit and she loves her more grown up room (although I still love the old one :( ) She also received a lot of nice gifts from the rest of the family. It was a good day!
We did end up having her best friend Ashley spend the night the next weekend for a mini birthday celebration. They had a blast! It is nice that she has such a close friend that enjoys so many of the same things. They had an excellent adventure....to be posted later.

Ellie is a wonderful little girl, great big sister, honest and caring friend, compassionate toward others and just special in every way! We are very proud of how she is excelling in school, piano, and dance. We look forward to her bright future! Happy Birthday Ellie
