At the end of the first week of school Ansley's 1st grade teacher explained that there would be a big tooth picture on the wall and when you loose a tooth your name goes up on it. So...Ansley decided to make it her mission that day to loose her front tooth that was loose. She wiggled it throughout the day and at the end of the school day it was so loose her teacher pulled it out. Ansley was SO excited to have her name on the tooth in the classroom! Mission accomplished.
A week later she was dropped off by our neighbor after school with her other front tooth in her hand. It came out as she was waiting to be picked up at the end of the day. So she now has an adorable toothless smile! I love it and wish those big awkward permanent front teeth would just stay away for a long time.
Note: all of this was over 1.5 weeks ago and her front teeth are still in a tic tac box. She does not want to give them to the tooth fairy.
