The older girls and I decided to go to the State Fair on the last day. It was a last minute decision, so we jumped in the car and headed to the train station. It was our first time to ride the train. The girls were very excited and had fun!
We explored all the crazy food at the fair and a few animals. Of course the favorite part was riding the rides. Although there was plenty of drama associated with that. Ansley HAD to ride the ferris wheel or her world would end and Ellie would NOT ride the ferris wheel for any amount of bribery offered. So we cried and stomped our feet and moved on to other rides. In the end we did ride the ferris wheel. Ellie buried her head in my lap and I had to keep reminding Ansley not to lean out of the cart too far. They are so different.
We really had a great time! Towards the end we ran into Brad and his family which was nice. It was a long day, but well worth it.
