Ellie's 7th birthday

Our first born princess is now 7! She is growing up so fast and seems even older than she is. Ellie is our sensitive, caring, compassionate, smart, empathetic, affectionate little girl. She amazes us everyday with her ability to learn and absorb things. Her sisters really look up to her. To Ansley she is a great role model and she is the best playmate ever for Aliya. They both just light up when she gets home from school. She loves school and actually wants to do her homework. She is a special little girl in our eyes!

For her birthday we had homemade chocolate chip waffles for breakfast followed by opening just 1 present! That entertained her for a while and then we walked to the park and played. After the park she opened the rest of her gifts. She was thrilled to get the Nintendo DS that she really wanted! We finished the evening with her soccer game and a great dinner out by the water with Nana and Bubba. The following day we had a gathering with my side of the family. Ellie was very happy her cousins came down for the day to be with her. We ate, opened gifts and played. Ellie was thrilled to get a big keyboard from Grandma and Grandpa. She ended the day with a trip to Conner Prairie with Grandpa and her cousins and then off to watch Ansley play soccer. It was a great birthday, we love Ellie so much and are always looking forward to what she has to offer next.
