The girls had a great time at the Church Easter Egg Hunt this year. Ellie and Ansley were in the same group and Aliya was in the under 2 section. The older girls went right out as soon as the whistle blew. They have really matured from the years where they just stood and cried while everyone ran past them. They got lots of eggs and were very proud!
Rick took Aliya to her hunt and he said she was unsure. She started for the eggs and then fell in the mulch. After Rick helped her up she went straight for the small amount of cement against the building and stayed there. We finally got her back into the hunt, but she just was not too interested.
We are looking forward to the Easter day hunt at home next. I hope the bunny does a good job hiding the eggs!
