Aliya is 2 1/2 weeks now! It seems like she has been here a lot longer than that. We are really enjoying her. It is a change having three kids at home, but everyone is adjusting. The older girls love having a baby sister and help pick out her clothes, give her baths, and hold her all the time. This week Aliya made her first trip to Grandma and Nana's for the holiday. She was pretty good, but who can blame her with lots of relatives eager to hold her every minute. I already feel like she is changing and getting older. She stretches out her legs now and her cry has gotten louder and more demanding. Tomorrow she goes back to the Dr for the third weight check. As of now she is down to 8lbs 9oz and they are looking for her to be back to birth weight plus by now. Hopefully she will be and we can stop going every week.
We just love her and are so glad to have her here and part of our family!
